A good early to mid-19th century Empire clock, rosewood veneer and mahogany case with inlaid floral decoration and stringing, original white painted highlights, silvered dial with engine turned engraving, cast and gilded bezel, matching cast gridiron pendulum bob, hour and half past bell striking movement signed Baullier & Fils, Paris (listed c1840), with matching floral inlaid rosewood base and glass dome, overall height 62 cm with dome, and key. Condition: generally good original order, fading to the woodwork, dial could be improved, dome in good condition with nibbles to edge.
