An early 18th century 8-day longcase movement with 11 inch brass dial, movement has nicely turned ringed pillars and internal countwheel strike, dial has applied chapter ring and lozenge half hour markers, signed for George Mills, Ripon, listed by Loomes as initially working in Northumberland in 1692, then Ripon 1710 to 1730.
