Lot Number 299
An oak cased 8-day longcase clock with 12 x 17 inch arched brass dial and moonphase, signed to the dial Elizabeth Moore, Loomes listed her as c1780 succeeding her husband Francis Moore, both of whom are recorded as working in Ferrybridge, Yorks, the case has attractive dragons carved into the trunk door, along with other carvings probably done later, with pendulum and two cast lead weights.
