A large Meiji period Satsuma koro and cover of oviform with twin pierced handles and raised on tripod mask and tongue supports, the pierced cover with shishi finial, the koro body enamelled with two panels of crowds of samurai, courtiers and ladies, approximately 24.5 cm (h) Condition Report - Hairling crack or restoration to the tail of the finial on the cover, rubbing to the decoration, particularly the gilding, a couple of small chips, one to a handle, the other to the rim of the koro
