An early 19th century oak and mahogany cased 8-day longcase clock, arched hood surmounted by eagle and ball brass finials, flanked by reeded columns with Corinthian capitals, 18 x 12 inch arched painted dial with rural scene to the arch featuring courting swans, indistinctly signed, matched brass hands, 8-day movement with bell-striking to the hour, trunk with canted corners and long door, base missing the feet, with pendulum and winding key, no weights, height 190cm not including finial.
