Two cast iron, mechanical money banks, largest approximately 21 cm (h). [2] Note: Mechanical cast iron banks were first manufactured in the late 1800's during the industrial revolution. The 'Jolly Banks' or money boxes were a popular item during this period and are also associated with Black Memorabilia. These items are listed on the basis that they are illustrative of a bygone culture in which there were different social norms.
